Palestinian sources reported Sunday that a Palestinian resistance group opened fire at Zionist regime’s army vehicles near Beit Awwa town, in the southern West Bank district of Al-khalil. The army reported no injuries.
The attack was carried out in retaliation to the killing of four Palestinians in the northern West Bank district of Nablus; two of the martyred Palestinians were children.
The fighters exchanged fire with the army in Al-khalil and fled the scene unharmed.
The army invaded Beit Awwa and several surrounding areas searching for the shooters.
The shooting took place on the road that links between Doura town, south of Al-khalil, and Beit Awwa.
